Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) is the peak body charged by Football Federation Australia with the responsibility of growing, developing and promoting the sport of Football throughout Northern NSW. With 64,000 registered players throughout our region, NNSWF is one of the largest State Sporting Organisations (SSO’s) in NSW.

NNSWF seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Senior Officer – Premier Competitions who will report to the Football Operations Manager. The role will oversee the conduct of NNSWF’s three Premier Competitions – National Premier Leagues, Women’s Premier League and Northern League One.

The position will be responsible for ensuring that the Premier Competitions are conducted in accord with the relevant regulations, policies and procedures and that the competing clubs operate in accordance with the terms of the respective participation agreements and competition criteria.

The successful candidate will preferably have the experience and capacity to transition to the role of Football Operations Manager.
It is envisaged that the person we’re looking for will have the following key ‘Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour:

Excellent communication skills, particularly written and presentation;
Very strong administrative skills;
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Proven administrative experience in sport and working with volunteer administrators;
Empathy for the challenges faced by Premier Clubs;
Experience implementing new policies, procedures and directives;
Knowledge of football in Northern NSW;
Very strong interest in football; and
A relevant tertiary qualification

Employment Conditions and Remuneration Package

This role is being offered on a full-time basis.

A remuneration package of between $80,000 and $85,000 per annum will be offered to the appropriate candidate.
