The FFA will host its NNSWF Coaching Conference on Friday 16th – Saturday 17th December at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility at Speers Point.
The theme for the 2016 conference is ‘Player Centered Coaching’ – coaching that meets the needs of the players.
PLAYER CENTRERED COACHING involves blending the ‘What?’ (Content) of coaching with the ‘How’ (method) you coach to meet the needs of your players. It takes into account the age/stage of the players and not only their technical/ tactical needs but also their social, psychological and physical needs in order to develop their potential.
This event is designed as one of the means for coaches to meet the required four (4) year revalidation requirements in order to keep their accreditation valid and current.
The two day event will equate to 50 points towards accreditation revalidation.
A detailed conference program will be provided here in the near future PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE however it is anticipated that Day 1 will feature informative sessions on Player Centred Coaching presented by key note speakers and FFA representatives, with Day 2 to include extensive practical coaching sessions.
