2015 NEWFM 1st Division Grand Final Relocation

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) wishes to advise that following due consideration and a thorough inspection of Jack McLaughlan Oval today, the 2015 NEWFM 1st Division Grand Final Series scheduled for Sunday 30th August has been relocated from Jack McLaughlan Oval, Edgeworth to Rockwell Automation Park, Weston.

The decision has been made due to the current field condition at Jack McLaughlan Oval, coupled with the fact that Edgeworth FC is scheduled to host three PS4 NPL semi-final fixtures on Saturday 29th August.

Unable to guarantee that Jack McLaughlan Oval would be able to sustain three fixtures on Saturday and a further four fixtures on Sunday, NNSWF considered alternative options and the decision to move the fixtures to Rockwell Automation Park has been made in the best interest of the game and the teams involved in the NEWFM 1st Division Grand Final Series.

NNSWF would like to thank Edgeworth FC’s Committee for its efforts and acceptance of the decision to move the fixtures, and Weston FC’s Committee for its assistance in providing a host venue for the NEWFM 1st Division Grand Final Series just days prior to the event.
