Keeping up with the MiniRoos

#6: Alex and Annelise head into the Tigers Den!

July 27th, 2019

ALDI MiniRoos Development Officers Alex Lowe & Annelise Rosnell made the trip to Evans Park in Cardiff on Thursday 25th July to visit a special young MiniRoo and his Tigers teammates!

As part of our June MiniRoos Monthly Newsletter, we posted a quiz to test out how many people had been keeping up with what Annelise and I had been getting up to all over the state with our MiniRoos activations. A prize pack was on offer for the winner, containing a boot bag, football, drink bottle, shin pads, slap band, hat and an Australia MiniRoos training jersey!

The lucky winner of that prize pack was Leo Albanese from Cardiff JFC U11s, who said that coming to football and playing with his friends allowed him and his family to get out and about more than they would be able to if he didn’t play. Well done Leo and thanks to Anthony, Lachlan and the Tigers crew for letting the two of us join in the fun at training!

Best of luck for the rest of the season!

Alex Lowe – MiniRoos Development Officer
