Coaches at all levels, from MiniRoos to Premier Clubs, are encouraged to register as a coach in PlayFootball to keep updated with the latest information.
With the return to training edging closer, it is more important than ever for coaches to have access to correct information first-hand and to be able to share resources.
In addition to receiving up-to-date information, registration in PlayFootball ensures coaches have access to reputable resources to help improve their coaching, including videos and practice sessions and how to run sessions when restrictions are lifted.
Northern NSW Football community coaches registered in PlayFootball also enjoy first access to Newcastle Permanent’s Skill of the Week, information regarding FFA and NNSWF coaching courses and the NNSWF Coach Development Facebook Group, facilitated by NNSWF Coach Education Coordinator Jarrad Denham.
The Facebook Group is an open forum for coaching queries, with members encouraged to share coach/development articles, books and videos.
NNSWF Head of Football Peter Haynes said it was more important now than ever for coaches to receive information first-hand and share ideas.
“There is no doubt that when we return to football it will look different to what we’re used to for 2020,” Haynes said.
“Like our everyday lives we will be set parameters by government which we’ll need to abide by.
“By registering in PlayFootball, coaches will receive this information first-hand, allowing them to implement any requirements quickly.”
