Coaches from the Mid North Coast were the winners on the day after receiving valuable coaching tips during a Newcastle Permanent Community Coaching Master Class held in Port Macquarie.
The Newcastle Permanent Master Class, conducted by Northern NSW Football Technical Director Michael Brown, was well attended with coaches leaving with valuable information to take back to their clubs and players.
Football Mid North Coast (FMNC) Technical Director Larry Budgen took the opportunity to involve some of FMNC’s Skills Acquisition Players (SAP) in the drills conducted by Browne during the session.
“Community coaches on the day had the chance to see Football Mid North Coast SAP players at the session to see what areas that needed progressing in their skill development and how this could be achieved,” Budgen said.
“All the coaches on the day went away with plenty of information to apply to their respective teams and clubs. Having Michael there to conduct the sessions was a real benefit for community coaches as they do not generally have access to players, coaches or a senior Technical Director at this level.”
FMNC General Manager Bruce Potter wished to thank the Newcastle Permanent for their support in arranging the Master Class for coaches in the area.
“The financial support of the Newcastle Permanent has made it possible for our coaches and players to benefit first hand from the experience of one of the highest qualified coaches in Northern NSW,” Potter said.
