Coaches the Winners at Newcastle Permanent Master-Class on the North Coast

April 15th, 2016

Coaches from the North Coast were the winners on the day after receiving valuable coaching tips during a Newcastle Permanent Community Coaching Master Class held recently in Coffs Harbour.

Hosted by North Coast Football, the Newcastle Permanent Master Class, conducted by Northern NSW Football Technical Director Michael Brown, was well attended with coaches leaving with valuable information to take back to their clubs and players.

North Coast Football’s Technical Director Gary McGinnis took the opportunity to involve some of the North Coast Football’s (NCF) Skills Acquisition players in the drills conducted by Browne.

“The Master Class from NNSW Technical Director, Michael Browne, was a very useful exercise in supporting our local coaches. The response was equally good from our Coffs-based coaches and we are sure that this could be a permanent fixture in the run-up to our local community competition,” McGinnis said.

NCF General Manager Reuben Robertson applauded the concept of using the experience and profile of the NNSWF Technical Director to benefit community football across the Zones.

“The delivery of the Newcastle Permanent Master Class event in the North Coast Football Region is an excellent way to develop our coaches using the talent and experience of Northern’s Technical Director, Michael Browne,” Robertson said.

“It should not go without saying that the financial support of our Major Partner in Newcastle Permanent enables the provision of these events and assists us in developing Community Football at the grass roots,” Robertson concluded.

The  Newcastle Permanent Master Class program will continue across Northern NSW in the months ahead with programs scheduled for the Mid North Coast (May 3) presented by Northern NSW Football’s Partner in Community Football, Newcastle Permanent.
