Coffs Coast Tigers FC achieve five-star NCDP accreditation

February 15th, 2022

Northern NSW Football is delighted to announce Coffs Coast Tigers FC have achieved 5-star accreditation in the National Club Development Program (NCDP).

The great work has continued at Coffs Coast Tigers FC to ensure the club provides the best experience for participants. The Tigers recently completed the actions identified through previous engagement with the NCDP to upgrade their accreditation to five stars.

“When I recently visited the club the fields were looking outstanding waiting to be marked out and ready for the season ahead,” NNSWF Club Development Officer Phillip Andrews said.

“Recently installed lighting creates great flexibility in providing opportunities for more football to be played at the venue. Club president Mellesa Bennett and the team at Coffs Coast Tigers FC continue to make improvements to ensure the club is attractive to prospective players and volunteers.

“The club had a strong representation in the Coastal Premier League in 2021. Mellesa proudly boasts of youth players from the club who have earned selection in the North Coast Football NPL squads, achieving their personal goals to play the best football available to them.

“Developing a strong football club takes persistence and time. It has been more than a year since Coffs Coast Tigers FC achieved their four-star rating and it is an outstanding achievement to create changes and now resubmit to achieve a higher rating.

“The NCDP is a great tool supporting strong governance and creating a pathway towards improvement.”
