COVID-19 Update 09/08/21 – Tamworth

August 9th, 2021

The NSW Government has announced stay-at-home orders for Tamworth LGA.

This is effective from 5:00pm today, Monday, 9 August 2021.

Therefore, all football activities within Tamworth LGA are suspended until stay-at-home orders are lifted by the NSW Government.

What does this mean for Football in Tamworth?

  • All games, training and other football activities are prohibited
  • You must comply with the stay at home orders
  • The lockdown will impact competitions across Tamworth differently and Toby McVey, Northern Inland Regional Coordinator, will be in touch with clubs to outline impacts on the remainder of the season
We understand this is a disappointing situation, however we encourage you to follow the health orders and stay safe. We will get back to playing, watching and enjoying the game we love as soon as restrictions ease.
In the short term please direct your enquiries to Toby McVey tmcvey@northernnswfootball.com.au
