Edgeworth and Broadmeadow to battle for the 2018 NPL Northern NSW Championship

This Saturday night, at the region’s premier stadium, McDonald Jones Stadium, the top two sides in the region’s top men’s competition, the NPL Northern NSW, will face-off for the right to call themselves 2018 champions.

Kicking off at 6:00pm, Edgeworth Eagles and Broadmeadow Magic will meet in the Grand Final, after progressing through two exciting Semi-Final tussles.

For Edgeworth, this will mark their fourth straight appearance in the Grand Final, while Broadmeadow enter their second in three years and aim to win their seventh championship in club history.

Former Hyundai A-League stars James Virgili, Mitch Oxborrow (Broadmeadow) and Josh Rose and Daniel McBreen (Edgeworth), will both be squaring off in the clash and will be hoping to add yet another milestone to their incredible careers.

It will be a fun, action-filled day of Grand Final football involving six Northern NSW clubs as the 18 Years Grand Final featuring the Emerging Jets and Lake Macquarie City (1:30pm) and the 20 Years featuring Maitland FC and Hamilton Olympic (3:30pm), will precede the First Grade match.
