Emerging Jets in Tasmania for the National SAP Festival

March 2nd, 2017

Two of Northern NSW Football’s Emerging Jets under 12 squads have flown to Tasmania today for the National Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) Festival in Devonport. The boys will be playing against teams from Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Running this weekend from Friday 3rd March to Sunday 5th March, the event will be held at Valley Road, home of Tasmanian National Premier League Club Devonport City Strikers.

Emerging Jets Head Coach of Skill Acquisition, Ryan Campbell said he is looking forward to seeing his players perform across the weekend.

“It’s a great opportunity to travel to Tasmania again for the players to have a chance to play against teams across Australia at a similar age group,” Campbell said.

“The weekend allows the players and coaching staff to benchmark themselves against other teams from around the country.”

“Whilst there are no scores recorded, I am looking forward to how the boys play their games over the weekend,” Campbell concluded.
