Northern NSW Football will be holding two confirmed FFA Workshops at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility in April for Coaches within the Game Training Phase (14-17 yrs) who have a good understanding of planning and conducting a session (minimum Game Training Certificate).
These courses are also for Advanced Licence Coaches (C Licence Youth or Senior) wishing to gain points towards licence revalidation.
The FFA Workshop 1, held on Monday, April 10 is called the ‘Tactical training’ Workshop.
This workshop will help the coach further develop the ability to analyse football and define a ‘football problem’ allowing the coach to be able to design sessions that will help players develop their tactical understanding.
The FFA Workshop 3, held on Monday, April 24, is called the ‘The problem-solving approach to tactical training’, which is the connecting course to Workshop 1.
This workshop focuses on ‘the teaching process’, a key part of the ‘conduct’ stage of a training session. All coaches aspire to improve performance. This workshop will further develop and improve the ability of the coach to create a problem-solving environment in which to teach their players tactical concepts.
