Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) FFA Cup Round of 32 representatives, Edgeworth Eagles FC and Maitland FC, have had their fixture details confirmed.

Edgeworth will be travelling to the Northern Territory to face Darwin Olympic SC at Darwin Football Stadium, Marrara on Wednesday 24th July, at 7:00pm local time (7:30pm AEST), while Maitland will be hosting Hyundai A-League side Central Coast Mariners at the new Maitland No.1 Sportsground a week later, Wednesday 31st July, 7:30pm (AEST).

This year marks the fourth time that the Eagles have featured in the national Round of 32 stage, but the first time that they’ve played in the Northern Territory.

If they are able to defeat Darwin Olympic, it’ll be just the second time that the club have progressed to the Round of 16 stage, while for their opponents, this year marks just the second time they’ve been in the Round of 32 after making it this far back in 2015 where they were defeated by Adelaide United, 6-1.

Maitland are making their debut in the FFA Cup national stage this season but have been drawn against a Mariners side that have already been beaten by Member Federation clubs on two occasions in years prior.

Match details and scores can be found on theffacup.com.au.
