Football Federation Australia’s program of business, member and community forums to shape the new Newcastle United Jets got underway last night with a Business Leaders Forum attended by over 40 key representatives of the Newcastle business community.
The evening opened with a welcome by FFA Director, former Socceroo and Newcastle football great Peter Tredinnick who said the night was a potential ‘watershed moment’ marking the start of a new era for the club.
Tredinnick was joined by Damien de Bohun FFA Head of Hyundai A-League , John Kelly FFA Chief Operating Officer, Luke Bould FFA Head of Commercial, Kyle Patterson FFA Head of Corporate Affairs & Communications and David Eland NNSWF Chief Executive Officer.
Last night’s forum was the first of three to be conducted. The next forum will be made up of current Jets members, with this forum to be conducted at Panthers Newcastle on Thursday 18th June, starting at 6.30pm.
Jets members are encouraged to attend the forum and in order to do so must register through the Jets website here.
The Jets Members Forum will be followed by a Northern NSW Football Community Forum on Wednesday, June 24, also at Panthers Newcastle, which is aimed at attracting key stakeholders in the football community, including club representatives, volunteers, coaches and match officials.
