Football Australia/AFC B Licence

Who’s it for?

The ‘B’ Licence is for coaches of Top Amateur, Elite Youth and State Teams who hold the Football Australia/ AFC ‘C’ Licence or have a recognised accepted UEFA ‘C’ or AFC ‘C’ Licence after completing Form 9.

This course is open to Coaches 18 years of age and older focusing on the 11 v 11 aspects of the game candidates will be able to analyse football and apply the Foobtall Australia Vision and Philosophy in the Game Training Model.

How do I register for a B Licence course?

Register via the links above. Payment does not need to completed upon registration, you will receive an invoice and payment information prior to the start of the course.

How much does a B Licence cost?


When does payment need to be made?

FFA will send information regarding payment after registration. Payment generally needs to be confirmed 12 weeks prior to the start of the course.

How long does the course take?

The B Licence runs for 12 days in total, and is delivered in three day blocks (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Attendance of all days is compulsory.

Post course coaches will need to complete a session plan, and film a training session to be sent in for assessment.

Is there an assessment?

Coaches need to complete a workbook that is provided prior to and also during the course.

Coaches will also need to submit a session plan and film one of their training sessions for assessment.

Are there any prerequisites to attend? 

Yes. To be eligible to attend you must have completed a C Licence Youth or Senior Licence.

How long does my accreditation last?

B Licence accreditation is valid for a period of 4 years. However, coaches can extend this accreditation period by attending workshops where they receive points.
