Northern NSW Leagues PlayStation® 4 National Premier (PS4 NPL) clubs Charlestown City Blues FC, Edgeworth FC and Lambton Jaffas FC were presented with Certificates of Achievement for Level 1 and 2 Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Club Accreditation during across the weekend’s round of PS4 NPL at youth and senior fixtures.
NNSWF Community Football Manager Peter Haynes and Senior Club and Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher made the presentations to the clubs which have become one of just nine clubs in Northern NSW to achieve Level 2 Accreditation.
The process of achieving this accreditation involved collaboration with Fisher towards meeting criteria in areas including Coach Education, Club Governance and Management, Volunteer Development, Safety and Risk Management, and Future Planning.
‘By gaining Level 2 Accreditation, Charlestown City Blues, Edgeworth and Lambton Jaffas have taken yet another step towards achieving best practice in the criteria areas and identified the need to continuously improve and provide the best environment for their players and members,’ NNSWF Senior Club and Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher said.
‘As a result, the clubs have put themselves in a better position to retain and recruit players, attract sponsors and attract volunteers,’ Fisher concluded.
