Gala Day Series provides kids with more football opportunities

Players aged 5 to 11 will have access to more football, this May and June, through NNSWF’s Club Gala Day Series on the all-weather synthetic Football Fives pitches at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility.

Community clubs are encouraged to enter u6-u11 teams to participate in the Series that will provide a fast and fun environment.

NNSWF’s Community Football Manager Ross Hicks said, “We will be delivering the Series as a five-a-side round robin with an emphasis on fun and playing against teams outside your zone.”

Female friendly environments

Clubs are encouraged to register girl’s teams for Gala Day three on Sunday 19 June.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for girls aged five to 11 to play in an all-female environment that will provide players more football and development,” said Hicks.

Value for money

Registrations are now open and at $50 per team is great value for more game time.

“We have tried to keep prices as low as possible to make it easy for clubs to get involved and benefit from the Club Gala Day Series,” said Hicks.
