Graham Sheppard Named Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month

June 26th, 2015

Northern NSW Football is pleased to announce Singleton Strikers FC’s Graham Sheppard as May’s Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month for Hunter Valley Football.

Sheppard was nominated by Singleton Strikers FC for his ongoing commitment to the club and tireless efforts to ensure the club’s continued success.

“Graham has shown true dedication to Singleton Strikers FC and the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award is well deserved.” NNSWF Community Football Manager Peter Haynes commented.

“Graham demonstrates the attributes of a model volunteer which have paid dividends with the clubs continued professionalism and growth” Haynes concluded.

Newcastle Permanent Chief Executive Officer, Terry Millett, congratulates Sheppard on becoming the recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award.

“Newcastle Permanent’s Community Football partnership provides opportunities to recognise volunteers who give back so much to their clubs and communities. It is great to see a local being recognised for their ongoing commitment,” Millett said.

Sheppard will receive a volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist in continuing to fulfil his valuable role at the club.
