Kotara South Football Club Awarded Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Award

Northern NSW Football is pleased to announce Kotara South Football Club, from Newcastle Football as Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Winner for May 2018.

Kotara South Football Club was awarded as the winner of the Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Award due to their significant contribution to the local community through their commitment in creating a safe and positive environment for their volunteers, coaches, players and their families.

“Kotara South Football Club has made a significant and valuable contribution to their club as they look after their members and go above and beyond their roles to ensure the players are enjoying their sport in a safe and positive environment,” NNSWF Community Football Manager Peter Haynes commented.

“We applaud the efforts of Kotara South Football Club’s Committee, coaches and players which demonstrate that community is integral to the club’s ethos,” Haynes concluded.

Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett echoed Haynes’ sentiments and is pleased a local Newcastle Football club has been rewarded for its efforts.

“Newcastle Permanent is committed to supporting great community initiatives and the Club of the Month Award provides us with the opportunity to recognise and reward clubs for the valuable contributions they make to their local area, both on and off the field,” Millett said.

Kotara South Football Club will receive a $250 First Touch Football Supplies gift voucher thanks to Newcastle Permanent that will allow the club to purchase new equipment to continue its efforts in growing the game in the Region.

The Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Award recognises clubs for contribution to football on and off the playing field across areas including football experience, club activities, coach, volunteer management and special projects.
