With Maitland FC’s ongoing commitment to provide quality coaching and leadership and our expansion into the Herald Women’s Premier League, Maitland FC are looking for coaches to fill the following roles in our 2021 programs:
- WPL 17s – Head Coach and Assistant Coach
- Girls Premier 12s – Head Coach and Assistant Coach
- Girls Premier 11s – Assistant Coach
- Girls Premier 10s – Head Coach and Assistant Coach
- Boys Premier 11s – Head Coach
- Boys Premier 9s – Head Coach
Head Coach / Assistant Coach expectations/qualities:
- Able to commit to 2-3 nights of training midweek as well as attend weekend fixtures as scheduled
- Minimum coaching accreditation as outlined by NNSWF relevant to age group, or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of the FFA national curriculum
- Able to assist with conducting player trials as required
- Good communication skills both with players and coaching and admin staff
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to self-evaluate own performance
- Ability to assess and provide player feedback via club reporting system
- Organisational and planning skills
- Ability to give and receive positive/constructive feedback
- Professional manner
- Passionate about football, coaching and player development
- Must be flexible, adaptable, energetic and enthusiastic
- Able to perform any other duties that may be required by the club as part of the role
