“We applaud the efforts of Moore Creek FC’s committee, coaches and players which demonstrate that community is integral to the club’s ethos.”
Newcastle Permanent Tamworth branch manager Julie Callander echoed Hicks’ sentiments and was pleased a local Northern Inland Football club had been rewarded for its efforts.
“Newcastle Permanent’s Community Football Awards recognise the important role clubs play in our local communities and it is great to see clubs embracing a culture of inclusiveness, discipline and respect, both on and off the field,” Callander said.
