Nambucca Strikers Football Club gain level 1 NCAS accreditation

July 18th, 2019

Nambucca Strikers Football Club are kicking goals in their local community.

The club committee recently applied for Level 1 accreditation with the National Club Accreditation Scheme. NNSWF Club Development Officer Phillip Andrews recently met with club President Paul Cue to present a certificate to acknowledge the achievement.

Recognition through the National Club Accreditation Scheme is a signal to sponsors, grant providers, club members and the community that Nambucca Strikers Football Club has developed the quality of governance expected of all successful NNSWF clubs.

From their level 1 accreditation Nambucca Strikers FC can expect continued guidance from FFA and Member Federations to enhance their delivery of community football including support for game development including coach education.

Andrews said NNSWF were excited and pleased with the work Nambucca Strikers had achieved.

“Nambucca Strikers Football Club is a motivated contributor to the local community providing positive experiences for players and their families engaging with football in the local area,” he said.

“The ‘Challenge Cup’ hosted by the club each season draws teams from all over the coast to the Nambucca area. On the afternoon of my visit it was fantastic to see so many young adults coaching and leading the young players through drills and games.

“We will continue to work with the committee of Nambucca Strikers Football Club as they strive to provide opportunities for their members and offer the best sporting experience available in Nambucca Heads.”

Northern NSW Football clubs seeking more information about the accreditation scheme should contact Phillip Andrews 02 4941 7206 at the NNSWF Club development team.
