These three clubs have been presented with their Certificate of Achievement for Level 1 Accreditation in the Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Club Accreditation Scheme by Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) Club & Referee Development Officer Ross Hicks on Sunday, November 20th at the Newcastle Jets v Central Coast Mariners derby match at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The process of achieving this accreditation involved collaboration between the Club and Ross Hicks, towards meeting criteria of Teams Entered, Club Management & Governance, Child Protection, Accredited Coaches, Safety & Risk Management and Promoting Positive Behaviour.
These three clubs are now among an elite group of NNSWF Member Clubs to achieve Level 1 Club Accreditation status.
“All clubs were highly motivated and their optimism was hugely beneficial in working towards achieving Level 1 Club Accreditation,” NNSWF Club & Referee Development Officer Ross Hicks said.
“The three clubs carried out the FFA Club Accreditation process with great enthusiasm and with a genuine interest to improve their club. Representatives (Chris May – New Lambton FC, Mark Henderson – Singleton Strikers FC & Troy Standen – Maryland Fletcher) from each club committee completed the process thoroughly and diligently and I would like to thank them for their efforts,” concluded Hicks.
