Northern NSW Football Community Football Manager Peter Haynes is pleased to announce the April Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award recipients from across each of its seven Member Zones.
“Volunteers are the backbone of our game and at the heart of football’s success across Northern NSW,” Haynes said.
“Each of the April winners have shown true dedication to their clubs and the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award is well deserved in all cases,” concluded Haynes.
Each winner will receive a certificate recognising their achievement, volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist in continuing to fulfil their valuable roles at their respective clubs.
“Newcastle Permanent’s Community Football partnership provides opportunities to recognise volunteers who give back so much to their clubs and communities. It is great to see such dedicated local volunteers being recognised for their ongoing commitment,” Newcastle Permanent Chief Executive Officer Terry Millett said.

Michelle took over Registrar this year to lessen the burden of Secretary and she was put into the role without knowledge of the role and this has turned out to be the club’s biggest year yet, with eight registration days and many late registrations, the club has grown to 36 teams.
Trying to place each child where they and their parents are happy and chasing up all relevant paperwork is a task in itself.
Michelle is also my minute taker and helps with many other things in the club as well. This award would make her feel appreciated.
Congratulations Michelle from Newcastle Permanent and Northern NSW Football.
Westlakes Wildcats FC
Terry is Club President and he works around the clock to get everything sorted from registrations and ground maintenance, to canteen/bbq co-ordination – the list goes on and on!!
He works like a Trojan and Westlakes Wildcats are very lucky to have him leading their great club.
Congratulations Terry from Newcastle Permanent and Northern NSW Football.

Angela is an amazing lady who volunteers so much time to her club. Her title as Club Secretary is not fitting as she goes above and beyond this role every day.
Everything Angela does for the club is of the highest standard and she makes sure each and every player, parent, sponsor and member is recognised and encouraged for their input. It’s only fitting she is recognised for hers.
Congratulations Angela from Newcastle Permanent and Northern NSW Football.
