NNSWF & North Coast Referees selected for Inaugural Champion of Champions

October 5th, 2018

During the coming week, Northern NSW Football’s (NNSWF) Inaugural Champion of Champions is set to take place at C.ex International Stadium, Coffs Harbour featuring the seven (7) Member Zones’ respective leading teams competing in the 12 to 16 Boys Years competitions.

In the first-ever edition of prestigious competition, 18 talented referees from NNSWF and North Coast Referees have been selected to officiate the tournament from Sunday 7th to Thursday 11th October providing them the opportunity to now only test themselves at a high level, but also to be acknowledged for their dedication and hard-work.

NNSWF Senior Officer – Match Official Administration and Development, Brad Carlin, says the appointment provides a special opportunity for the selected referees.

“The match officials selected to officiate at the Champion of Champions include some of the best young refereeing talent from Newcastle and Coffs Harbour,” Carlin said.

“I’m looking forward to mentoring and officiating with the young referees at the event and advancing their development.
