December 16th, 2020

Northern NSW Football has released its Premier Competitions fixtures ahead of the 2021 season.

The National Premier Leagues Northern NSW, Herald Women’s Premier League and NEWFM Northern League One competitions will all return to a full schedule in 2021 with some exciting clashes to start the season.

Next year will see a return to matchdays being played at different time slots across weekends to give fans a chance to take in more matches at grounds or streamed.

Matches will be played on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays.

Northern NSW Football’s top tier men’s competition, NPL NNSW, will start with a clash between 2020 grand finalists Edgeworth FC and Maitland FC in round one on Saturday 27 March.

The Eagles won the premiership-championship double last season and will start their twin title defences at Jack McLaughlan Oval against the Magpies.

Elsewhere in round one, Maitland FC make their Herald WPL debut by taking on Broadmeadow Magic FC at Cooks Square Park, while New Lambton FC face Adamstown Rosebud JFC and Merewether United FC host Mid Coast FC with both matches at No.2 Sportsground.
