Northern NSW Football is proud to announce the launch of the 2021 Newcastle Permanent Coaching Masterclass Series.
The FREE online and face to face series follows on from the success of the Newcastle Permanent Coaching and Volunteer Masterclass Series’ last year.
NNSWF and Newcastle Permanent, our major partner of community football, took the opportunity to move training online to assist clubs during the COVID-19 pandemic. But 2021 will see a return to face to face components as well as online webinars.
Football Australia Boys Youth Development Manager Kevin Grima will open the series on 8 March with his session ‘Circuit Method’.
NNSWF Head of Football Development Peter Haynes said the Newcastle Permanent Coaching Masterclass Series highlighted Northern NSW Football’s commitment to helping coaches and growing the game.
“The Coaching and Volunteer Masterclass Series’ that we held last year were really well received which encouraged us to launch the Coaching Masterclass Series and Volunteer Training Series this year,” Haynes said.
“These webinars and face to face sessions will be really valuable for clubs and help them upskill their coaches ahead of the 2021 season which we anticipate to be our biggest yet.
“There are some really worthwhile components that I think clubs will get a lot out of and help them have a successful 2021.”
Grima’s workshop will see him present the ‘Circuit Method’ as a practical approach to expose children to a range of fun games and activities in the one session.
Designed for community coaches who are coaching players aged between of 6 and 12, attendees will receive take-home resources to bring the approach to life in their own football coaching environment.
Coaches with an advanced licence will be accredited 10 CPD points.
