Northern NSW Football’s Premier competitions, the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues, Herald Women’s Premier League and NEWFM Northern League One will support prostate cancer awareness with the Men’s Health Round to take place this weekend on June 3rd and 4th.
Partnering with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFC), the Men’s Health Round aims to raise much-needed funds and awareness for prostate cancer which is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men and claims the lives of over 3000 men in Australia every year.
Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia Ambassador Steven Wilson said it is crucial men keep on top of their health.
““I encourage men to engage with their general practitioner around health issues not only for your own benefit but for your family and friends also,” Wilson said.
Donations can be made at participating club match days or online at https://give.everydayhero.com/au/play-for-prostate-Health
