Northern NSW’s Zac Bailey has been selected to attend his second National Under-16 training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) later this month.
Bailey will participate in the third of five National Under-16 training camps that will take place at the AIS between April 20-22 as preparation for tournaments later this year.
Bailey along with fellow Northern NSW players James Bayliss, Will Menz and Angus Thurgate also attended an Under-16 training camp earlier in April, while Jez Murray and Lachlan Watson were selected to participate in the first camp held in February.
In July the selected Joeys squad will head to the AFF Under-16 Youth Championships in Indonesia, before the AFC Under-16 Championship qualifiers are held in September.
If the side progresses to 2016’s AFC Under-16 tournament, a top four placing will allow entry to the 2017 Under-17 World Cup.
Northern NSW Football would like to congratulate each of the players who have attended Under-16 training camps in 2015.
