Match of the Round
Weston Workers FC 1 def. Edgeworth FC 0

In the match of the round at Rockwell Automation Park Weston prevailed 1-0.  Edgeworth FC dominated possession and field position in the first half and were unlucky not to score on several occasions thwarted by the crossbar, upright and the keeping of Weston’s Tim Pratt. In the second half both teams’ intensity lifted further. In the end it came down to some individual brilliance by Weston defender Carl Thornton who buried a header from long range after Nathan Morris found him with a pinpoint free kick. This ended up being the difference.

In an exciting clash Rosebud prevailed 2-1 after the Jets Youth took the lead in the 29th minute courtesy of Tom Waller.
