Queen’s Birthday Challenge

Northern NSW Football is pleased to announce a Football Five5 Queen’s Birthday Challenge for senior men on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in June at the new Lake Macquarie Regional Facility in Speers Point.

The inaugural Queen’s Birthday Challenge coincides with the scheduled break in the local Interdistrict competition. The tournament provides players with the opportunity to experience the excitement and speed of Football FIVE5 in an action packed one day tournament format. All teams will play a minimum of five* fixtures in a range of ability based divisions. Prize money is up for grabs and team entry fees start at as little as $250 for what promises to be an outstanding day of football at Australia’s premier football facility.

When: Sunday 7 June
Time: first fixtures commence at 10.00am with the final matches commencing at 5pm
Where: Football Fives – Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility – Park Rd Speers Point
Format*: min of 5 matches of modified Football Fives – 10 min halves
Divisions: 2 X Over 35 and 4 X All Age
Teams: strictly limited to a total of 48 teams
Players per team: 8 players per team (recommended)
Age: 18 years plus
