Registrations open for Great Lakes United’s Junior Viking Challenge

Great Lakes United FC have opened registrations for their Junior Viking Challenge.

The Football Mid North Coast club will host the event at Boronia Park, Forster on 4 and 5 December.

There are two age divisions for boys and girls, with no mixed teams and no exceptions to the age requirements.

13s Boys (min. age 11 at 23 Oct’ 2021, max. age 13 in calendar year)
13s Girls (min. age 11 at 23 Oct’ 2021, max. age 13 in calendar year)
15s Boys (min. age 13 in 2021 calendar year, max. age 15 in calendar year)
15s Girls (min. age 13 in 2021 calendar year, max. age 15 in calendar year)

A child turning 14 this calendar year can not play on a 13s team. But they can play on a 15s team. A 12-year-old can play on a 15s team as long as their birthday is on or before 31 December 2021 and they turn 13 this calendar year. A child can not play for two teams (ie. a 12 or 13-year-old playing in a 13s and 15s team).
