The Board of Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) has appointed Senior Executive, Sarah Gray as an Appointed Director.
Sarah is currently the Executive Officer of Hunter Life Education, a Member of the Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Business, Marketing.
Sarah’s previous experience includes Head of Corporate Services at the Newcastle Jockey Club and Director of Sales and Marketing at Quay West Magenta Shores.
Northern NSW Football Chairman, Bill Walker said Mrs Gray expertise in Business and Marketing will benefit both NNSWF and the sport.
“Sarah Gray brings a wealth of knowledge to the Northern NSW Football Board of Directors,” Mr Walker said.
“Having a business and marketing background will benefit the organisation and the sport immensely. She will have a great sense of connection with participants and the audience.
“We are excited to have her on board and are looking forward to her input she will bring into the role,” Mr Walker concluded.
Mrs Gray said she is excited to start the role and offer her skills to the football community.
“I am passionate about public health and wellbeing from a grassroots level, and I believe that community sport and football, in particular, offers many benefits to young people and the community as a whole in this area,” Mrs Gray said.
“I will also use my corporate marketing and business engagement skills to assist the board and team where possible, ensuring further success the sport.”
Mrs Gray will attend her inaugural meeting as a Director of Northern NSW Football Ltd on Wednesday 13 March 2019.
