Northern NSW Football PlayStation® 4 National Premier League (PS4 NPL) club South Cardiff FC were presented with Certificates of Achievement for Level 1 and 2 Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Club Accreditation during the weekend’s round of PS4 NPL at youth fixtures.
NNSWF Senior Club and Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher made the presentation to the club which have become one of just nine clubs in Northern NSW to achieve Level 2 Accreditation.
The process of achieving this accreditation involved collaboration with Fisher towards meeting criteria in areas including Coach Education, Club Governance and Management, Volunteer Development, Safety and Risk Management, and Future Planning.
‘By gaining Level 2 Accreditation, South Cardiff have taken yet another step towards achieving best practice in the criteria areas and identified the need to continuously improve and provide the best environment for their players and members,’ NNSWF Senior Club and Referee Development Officer Gary Fisher said.
‘As a result, the club has put itself in a better position to retain and recruit players, attract sponsors and attract volunteers,’ Fisher concluded.
