Three NNSWF Referees Appointed to National Youth Championships for Boys

September 26th, 2019

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) Referees Technical Committee are pleased to announce Newcastle Referees Keegan Pulik, Zac Campbell and Connor Markovich as the region’s representatives for the National Youth Championships for Boys tournament early next month.

The tournament will be held at C.ex Coffs Harbour International Stadium from September 30 – October 4 and gives all three referees a valuable development opportunity, as the tournament is used by FFA referee coaches to view current National Talent Pool members, as well as referees striving to be appointed to the National Talent Pool in the future.

Connor Markovich

NNSWF Senior Officer – Match Official Administration and Development Brad Carlin, expressed his excitement for the three referees and their selection and said it would be a major milestone for them.

“The selection of Keegan, Zac and Connor to attend the upcoming FFA National Youth Championships for Boys is a reward for the attitude, performance and potential they have displayed to strive to become elite referees,” Carlin said.

Zac Campbell

“Officiating at this event is an important step in the FFA and NNSWF Referee Development Pathways and also will provide Keegan, Zac and Connor with coaching by some of FFA’S best instructors.

“I am confident that our three referees will perform well and will return as even better match officials.”
