Tuncurry Forster FC Capitalise on Telstra’s Rewards Program

June 16th, 2017

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) and High-Performance Partner, Telstra, would like to applaud Tuncurry Forster Football Club for raising an astonishing amount of $8,050.00 in First Touch Football Supplies from members of their club signing up to the national broadband network (nbn) with their local Telstra Store in Forster.

From 2016, a local group of six Telstra Stores Stores – Telstra Store Forster, Taree, Kotara, Glendale, East Maitland and Lake Haven – have been rewarding members with vouchers to spend at the Northern NSW Football’s merchandise shop, First Touch Football Supplies. Customers get to nominate their club to receive a $50 voucher when they connect a Telstra Bundle to the nbn at one of their stores.

Telstra Licensee, David Sampaklis, thanks, Tuncurry Forster FC for their incredible support of Telstra’s Rewards Program and hopes the money will be of great use to the club.

“Having been a part of the local football community for many years, it gives me great pleasure to be able to support the local football community through our initiative.”

Tuncurry Forster FC’s Club Secretary, Paula Drew, was thrilled with the support of their members of the club in nominating them to earn the Telstra Rewards when connecting to the nbn.

“We are extremely thankful to the local community for thinking of the club and nominating us for the Telstra Rewards Program,” Drew said.

“The money will be used to purchase new and improved equipment for the children to use, such as new nets, corner posts and training equipment.”

“Tuncurry Forster FC is committed to providing the best possible experience for our players in the region and we are grateful to Telstra, Northern NSW Football and First Touch Football Supplies for their generosity,” Drew concluded.

Clubs that have signed up to the nbn will receive their vouchers this month via their club email.
