Wallsend FC announce Community Partnership with Life Without Barriers with Herald WPL team

January 25th, 2019

Wallsend FC Herald Women’s Premier League is delighted to announce the signing of a new Community Partnership agreement with Life Without Barriers.

Life Without Barriers (LWB) is an organisation that celebrates the abilities of each individual and works with clients of diverse backgrounds, experiences and abilities. LWB provides various services to their clients so they can bring their whole self to work every day and thrive.

At Wallsend WPL’s inaugural Players workshop in December 2018, it was identified by the players that a core value of the club is to be inclusion.

“We believe this community partnership agreement with LWB allows the club the opportunity to bring the greatest game in the world to people who might not get the chance to play,” said club secretary, Mark Noble.

Under the community partnership agreement it will see clients attend various home matches during the year and take part in playing football, meeting players and being a part of the match day experience.

Wallsend FC will actively promote and seek to raise the awareness of LWB within the football family with numerous initiatives – LWB will be the match day sponsor of a very important game during the season with some exciting details of this day to come and will also be recognised at no cost as back of jersey sponsor to remind all players and supporters the importance of inclusion.

Wallsend FC WPL are proud to be partnered with Life without Barriers and are really looking forward to developing this partnership in the future.
