Westfield FFA Cup Round 5 Northern Conference Fixtures to be Rescheduled

May 14th, 2017

UPDATE:

After further investigation by Northern NSW Football and State Referees, both Coffs Harbour grounds at Polwarth Drive (Coffs Coast Tigers FC) and Mclean Street (Coffs City United FC) have been rained out with over 50mm of rain.

Rescheduled fixtures will be finalised early next week when both parties from each club find an agreement to availability. The team drawn first for each fixture will be given the opportunity to host in the first instance.

Due to heavy rainfall overnight and the severe weather conditions predicted in the North Coast, Nothern NSW Football, State Referees and the Coffs City Council have come to the decision to abandon the fixtures at the C.ex International Stadium.

Northern NSW Football will be investigating other ground options in Coffs Harbour to commence fixtures today with taking into consideration Far North Coast teams’ travel.

If other grounds found too wet to play on, rescheduled fixtures will be finalised early next week when both parties from each club find an agreement to availability. The team drawn first for each fixture will be given the opportunity to host in the first instance.

The two winning clubs from Round 5 will progress to the NNSWF Westfield FFA Cup Final Series that is scheduled for Saturday 10th and Monday 12th June.
