Westfield FFA CUP Round 6 LIVE Draw this Wednesday

May 23rd, 2016

All eight of Northern NSW club sides have now been determined in the Round 6 Westfield FFA Cup Qualification Weekend, which will be held at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility on June 18 and 19.

The LIVE draw will take place this Wednesday 25th May at 12.30pm live on the ‘The Rooftop’ area at Westfield Kotara.

On Saturday Urunga FC won a closely fought battle in extra time 2-1 against Bangalow FC to secure the final spot in the final eight for the Qualification Weekend.

In the other Northern Pool fixture, Norths United (Armidale) claimed a 2-0 victory over Tuncurry Forster FC.

PlayStation® 4 National Premier League sides, Hamilton Olympic FC, Edgeworth FC and Lambton Jaffas FC; NEWFM First Division sides, Belmont Swansea FC, Thornton FC and Singleton FC have secured their places in the Westfield FFA Cup earlier this year.

The Westfield FFA Cup provides PlayStation 4 NPL Northern NSW clubs and Northern NSW Club teams the opportunity to progress to the Round of 32 and the chance to play off against Preliminary Round club-based winners from fellow states, as well as Hyundai A-League Clubs.

The Qualification Weekend format will see four Southern teams drawn against each other and the remaining two Southern teams drawn against the two Northern teams in the ‘Final Eight’ fixtures.

The winners of the ‘Final Eight’ matches will progress to the ‘Final Four’ fixtures. All ‘Final Four’ fixtures will be drawn from the hat on Saturday June 18 to play on Sunday June 19.

The two winners will automatically qualify to represent Northern NSW Football in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.
