Newcastle Jets Women Head Coach Craig Deans this afternoon announced the latest six squad members to sign on ahead of the upcoming Westfield W-League (WWL) season.
Each of the players; Ashlee Brodigan, Kobie Ferguson, Brooke Miller, Sophie Nenadovic, Hannah Southwell and Clare Wheeler, currently participate in the Emerging Jets Program, with Brodigan and Ferguson set to make their WWL debut this season.
Ferguson, Miller, Nenadovic, Southwell and Wheeler recently returned from the AFC U-19 Championships in China where they represented Australia as part of the Young Matildas squad.
The six players join already announced squad members Tara Andrews, Claire Coelho, Rhali Dobson, Libby Copus-Brown, Cassidy Davis and Georgia Yeoman-Dale as part of the Season 8 line up.
The WWL commences on October 17, Newcastle Jets Women have a bye in Round 1 before facing Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory on opposition turf in Rounds 2 and 3 respectively.
The Jets Women will make their first appearance in front of a home crowd on Saturday 7th November when the side hosts Western Sydney Wanderers at Magic Park.
