Striking the Ball – Beginning: Bombard

A fun game where players attempt to knock the target ball over the opposition’s line!
First Touch – Middle: 3v1

Players count how many passes they can make around outside of the square with a defender trying to intercept their pass.
Running with the Ball – End: Line Football

Players score by running with the ball over the opposition’s end-line.
10 Ball Challenge
Line up 10 footballs on the edge of the penalty area, the first ball is a different colour. Attempt to get all of the footballs over the goal-line before the first one crosses. If the first ball does not cross the line no points are awarded. Each players has two attempts with the total score added over two rounds.
Head juggling in pairs
With a friend, count how many times you can head the ball to each other. Try and beat your record, start with 5, if you can get to 10 or even 20 you are on your way to mastering this challenge.
Newcastle Permanent Community Coach of the Month
The Newcastle Permanent Community Coach of the Month Award is awarded monthly from March to August to a coach that makes a significant contribution to their team, club and/or community.
This is not aimed at results or winning, but a coach who provides a positive experience for all involved.
