Thank You

Thank you to our football family

Football is more than a game. It’s a passion, a community, a family, a part of who we are.

Season 2022 presented new challenges, but our football family overcame them with a shared drive and love of the game. Despite the setbacks, together we’ve achieved great things:

  • Introducing another opportunity for young community footballers through the Inaugural Community State Youth Championships

  • Securing a $10 million legacy fund to grow female involvement throughout NSW by leveraging the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™

  • Creating more opportunities to showcase our talented First Nations participants through the NAIDOC Cup and Talented Indigenous Scholarships

  • Launching our Local Champions Awards to recognise and celebrate people making a difference across the football family

  • Providing funding opportunities for clubs through our Facilities Fund

  • Promoting and encouraging a culture of respect in football with our Respect the Game campaign.

We know people like you are the beating heart of clubs, the unsung heroes, who keep the game going. Coaches, players, referees, committee members, sponsors, mums and dads, line markers, canteen workers, BBQ’ers and the rest.

Thank you for your effort, your resilience and your dedication to your club and community.

We can’t wait to see you back around the grounds in season 2023.
