Women's Leadership Program

Northern NSW Football launched its Women's Leadership Program in 2023, aimed at empowering women involved in football to have a stronger, more positive influence on the sport. With the successful implementation of this program through 2023,2024 and 2025, we look forward to delivering this program in 2026.

The Women's Leadership Program will provide online and face-to-face learning and networking opportunities for established and aspiring female leaders within football.

Serena Carter, Northern NSW Football's Participation and Women's Football Officer, said: "We want to facilitate the appointment and representation of more women to decision-making roles across all levels of the game. Our Women's Leadership Program is a fantastic opportunity for women to gain valuable skills, connect with other women in the industry, and make a positive impact on the future of football."

The program will provide a professional development opportunity for women in football and aims to increase the visibility of women in influential roles.

This initiative is open to all women aged 18+ involved in football, including advanced coaches and referees, board members, club volunteers, football media, high performance players and paid employees.
