- Under 13 Boys (born 2013 and later)
- Under 13 Girls (born 2013 and later)
- Under 15 Boys (born 2011 and later)
- Under 15 Girls (born 2011 and later)
- Open Boys (born 2008 and later)
- Open Girls (born 2008 and later)
U14s and U16s may be available in some regions.
The NNSWF School Futsal Championships will run across three stages.
Stage 1 - Regional Championships - Term 2
Any school can enter (schools may enter more than one tournament) this stage and compete against schools in their region to be crowned regional champions. The winners and sometimes runners-up will qualify for the NNSWF School Futsal Championships held in Port Macquarie from 25th August until 3rd September 2026.
Stage 2 - NNSWF School Futsal Championships 25 August - 3rd September
Regional winners and some runners-up will compete for the title of State Champions and a place in the School Futsal National Championships.
Stage 3 - School Futsal National Championships (Football Queensland) 23-25 November 2026
NNSWF Champions, and sometimes runners-up, will qualify for the national finals.
