2025 grand final venues confirmed

Northern NSW Football is delighted to announce its 2025 grand final venues.


NPL Women’s NNSW – First Grade, Reserve Grade

The NPL Women’s NNSW first and reserve grade grand finals will be played at Darling Street Oval, Hamilton on Saturday 6 September.

First Grade 2pm, Reserve Grade 11am


NPL Men’s NNSW – First Grade, Reserve Grade

The NPL Men’s NNSW first and reserve grade grand finals will be played at Darling Street Oval, Hamilton on Sunday 7 September.

First Grade 2pm, Reserve Grade 11am

Northern NSW Football will work with Newcastle Olympic to install additional infrastructure on the eastern side of Darling Street Oval including temporary grandstands, additional food and beverage vendors and public toilets to help make an even better experience for spectators.

The availability of four changerooms at Darling Street Oval was a critical factor in the selection, ensuring all clubs can prepare for their respective finals without interruption.


Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final + HIT106.9 Northern League One Reserve Grade

The Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final and the HIT106.9 Northern League One reserve grade grand final will be played at Magic Park, Broadmeadow on Saturday 30 August.

Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final – 2pm

HIT106.9 Northern League One Reserve Grade Grand Final – 11am


Premier Youth League Girls

The Premier Youth League Girls grand finals will be played at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility on Friday 5 September.

Under-17s 8pm, Under-15s 6.15pm, Under-13s 8pm

Premier Youth League Girls grand finals will be played at a standalone date and venue to ensure matches are played and to ensure optimal playing surfaces for PYLG and NPL Women’s grand finals. Kick-off times have been selected to allow players to play in multiple grand finals if required. Times are subject to change based on potential clubs involved.


Premier Youth League Boys

Northern NSW Football will assess the condition of playing surfaces at potential host venues in the coming weeks to ensure the best possible playing surface and facilities for these matches. More information will be released to clubs two weeks before the semi-finals.


Northern NSW Regional Super League

The inaugural Northern NSW Regional Super League finals weekend will be played at Scully Park, Tamworth on the weekend of 11 and 12 October.

Kick-off times will be dependent on the location of competing clubs. NNSWF will work to ensure appropriate kick-off times for all clubs, particularly those required to travel.


NNSWF Men’s State Cup Final and Men’s Community Plate Final

The Men’s State Cup Final and Men’s Community Plate Final will be played at Adamstown Oval on Saturday 26 July.

Men’s State Cup Final – Cooks Hil United v Weston Bears 3pm

Men’s Community Plate Final – Northern Storm v Croudace Bay FC 12pm


NNSWF Women’s State Cup Final and Women’s Community Plate Final

The Women’s State Cup Final and Women’s Community Plate will be played at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility on the weekend of Friday 11 July to Sunday 13 July.

The kick-off times for the Women’s State Cup Final and Women’s Community Plate Final will be determined over the tournament weekend.


NNSWF General Manager Football Operations Liam Bentley said he looked forward to the most exciting time of the season.

“There is always a lot of anticipation around the end of a season and I’m sure we’ll have more exciting and competitive finals series across our competitions this year,” Bentley said.

“We’re really looking forward to the NPL double header grand final weekend at Darling Street Oval. And our inaugural Regional Super League finals weekend at Scully Park promises to be a real spectacle.

“We’d like to thank our clubs for their cooperation in ensuring a successful conclusion to the season.”
