2025 Women’s Leadership Program Scholarship Recipients Announced

Northern NSW Football is delighted to announce the scholarship recipients of the Women’s Leadership Program

Scholarships were awarded to 12 women within northern NSW to take part in the program which begins on the 17th of April 2025.

The program was developed to provide female leaders within the football community with support and education to exhibit strong positive influences within football at all levels.

The initiative is open to all women aged 18 and above involved in football, including  coaches and referees, board members, club volunteers, football media, high performance players and paid employees.

The Women’s Leadership Program will provide online and face-to-face learning and networking opportunities for aspiring and established female leaders within football.

The 2025 program will be facilitated by Football Australia’s Media and PR Manager Ann Odong.

Northern NSW Football Participation & Women's Football Officer – Regional Helen Moseley congratulated all recipients and looked forward to running another successful program.

“Our Women’s Leadership Programs are aimed at empowering women involved in football to have a stronger, more positive influence on the sport,” Moseley said.

“With the successful implementation of the program through 2023 and 2024, we look forward to delivering another great program in 2025.
