2026 Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final Match Day Information

Northern NSW Football's Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final will take place on Saturday with an exciting day of football expected.

The final team to compete in the NPL Men's NNSW 2027 competition will be confirmed, while the HIT106.9 Northern League One reserve grade champions will also be crowned.

WHEN: Saturday 5 September

WHERE: Hunter City Motor Group Stadium, Weston

KICK-OFF TIMES: Pro/Rel Play-Off Final 2pm – Kahibah FC v Newcastle Croatia

Reserve Grade grand final 11am – Dudley Redhead United v Lake Macquarie City FC

Champions will be decided by extra-time and penalty kicks in the event of a draw.

GATES OPEN: 10am

PARKING: Supporters are advised to arrive early and leave plenty of time to enter the venue due to limited parking and with a large crowd expected.

TICKETS: $10 adults, $5 concession, FREE 16-years and under. Tickets will be available at the gate only with contactless payment preferred. Limited change will be available, with correct cash appreciated.


NNSWF Premier Competitions Lead Thom Kane said he looked forward to another exciting weekend of finals, with the Promotion/Relegation Play-Off Final once again taking centre stage.

“Now in its third year, the Promotion/Relegation Play-Off final has quickly become an important part of the NNSWF finals calendar and once again promises to be a major highlight of the season,” Kane said.

“Saturday will be another massive day for football in our region as we determine who will secure the final spot in the NPL Men’s NNSW competition for 2027.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the quality and passion within our game and I’d encourage everyone to come out and support our players and clubs in a positive and respectful way this weekend.
