Female Football Week 2026 officially kicked off today with plenty to celebrate and showcase across the northern NSW football community.
Female Football Week will take place from Friday 8 May to Sunday 17 May, with the week an opportunity to showcase the talent and passion of female footballers, coaches, referees and volunteers across northern NSW.
There are a range of activities and events planned including gala days, networking events and awards.
NNSWF Participation & Women’s Football Officer Serena Carter said she looked forward to another successful Female Football Week in 2026.
“Female Football Week provides a fantastic chance to highlight the dedication and skill of female players, coaches, referees and volunteers across the northern NSW community,” Carter said.
“There’s something for everyone to enjoy, from grassroots participants to elite competitors. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to take part in a vibrant celebration of women’s football in northern NSW.”
