Northern NSW Football is delighted to announce its squads for the 2025 Football Australia National Futsal Championships.
The FA National Futsal Championships will be held in Melbourne from 8 to 12 January 2025.
NNSWF will send five teams to the tournament including an under-13s girls, under-15s girls, under-14s boys, under-16s boys and senior women's team.
This marks the return of NNSWF to FA National Futsal Championships, giving the opportunity for the best futsal players from across our region to compete and showcase their talent on the national stage.
NNSWF Futsal Development Manager Damon Shaw said he was pleased to make the announcement.
“Futsal is experiencing rapid growth across the region and we are thrilled that NNSWF can make their return to the Football Australia National Futsal Championships in 2025. This is one of the key parts of NNSWF’s renewed focus on futsal,” Shaw said.
“The squads were selected from trials that took place in multiple locations and dates across northern NSW to ensure that the best teams could be selected. I was really happy with the talent on show and I am sure the whole region will get behind NNSWF’s representatives.
“Congratulations to all players and coaches selected to represent NNSWF on the national stage. I’m excited to see them compete against the best in Australia.”
The National Futsal Championships are Football Australia’s primary futsal tournament. The competition will see teams from each of Football Australia’s state member federations compete over five days.
