Northern NSW Football conducted its 2026 Women’s State Cup draw on Monday morning.
The draw was broadcast live on NNSWF’s social media channels.
The Women’s State Cup will return next month with the best NNSWF Premier and Community teams converging on the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility for the chance to be crowned the state champions.
20 teams will take part in the three-day tournament to be held from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July.
Joint winners Cardiff Motor Group NPL Women’s NNSW side Charlestown Azzurri was drawn in group C alongside Lake Macquarie City FC, while Maitland FC were drawn in group B with Newcastle Olympic.
The 2025 Community Plate winners Urunga FC were drawn in group D with New Lambton FC and University of Newcastle FC, alongside Cardiff Motor Group NPL Women’s NNSW sides New Lambton Eagles and Broadmeadow Magic.
The NNSWF Indigenous team will enter the competition for the fourth consecutive year made up of Indigenous players and coaches from throughout northern NSW in group A with Adamstown Rosebud JFC, Kempsey Saints, Lochinvar Rovers and Medowie FC.
The 2026 Women’s State Cup will also feature activations across the weekend including Best Body Supplements, a physio on site and recovery station.
